Cape May has officially been selected as a finalist in Hallmark Channel’s Merriest Christmas Towns Contest — and now we need your vote!

In celebration of Hallmark Channel’s 25th birthday, Hallmark launched a nationwide search for communities that bring the magic of Christmas to life through holiday traditions, community spirit, charm, and goodwill. From communities across the country, Cape May has made it to the public voting round.

For anyone who has experienced Christmas in Cape May, it’s easy to see why.

The holiday season transforms Cape May into something that already feels straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Victorian homes glow with lights and greenery, storefronts are dressed for the season, and a full calendar of holiday events and traditions fills the city.

From trolley rides and holiday tours to shopping, dining, festive performances, and beautifully decorated historic homes, Christmas has long been one of the most special times of year to experience Cape May.

Now, Cape May has the chance to receive national recognition for the holiday magic our community creates year after year.

Hallmark is recognizing communities across the country as Official Hallmark Christmas Towns as part of the contest. The grand prize-winning community will earn the title of Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Town and the opportunity to serve as a filming location for a future Hallmark original movie.
